DAYS ONE & TWO:

Soo, I'm posting much later then I had hoped to... I am now 48 hours into my fast.  It has definitely been a roller coaster.  I have had some almost euphoric/ hyper moments, and other moments where I felt like crawling in a hole until this was over with.  I feel like a bipolar, hormonal crazy woman who wants some chocolate.....but I'm not going to do it, I won't give in!!
I have made several different variety's of juice so far...some make me want to gag, forcing me to chug them with my nose plugged...okay so maybe they aren't that bad, but they definitely aren't good. Some have been "whatever"..neither good nor bad, but tolerable.

At one point today the thought of sipping on veggies simply made feel disgusted so I opted for a glass of raw, fresh squeezed orange juice just to get me by.  But I finally had a great juicing moment this evening, where I made an all vegetable juice that was amazing! I was so excited I had to call my neighbors over for a taste!:)

We'll call this Red Juice:)  It has tomatoes, carrots, celery, spinach, beets, kale, bell pepper, garlic,
and a dash of cayenne pepper.  Sooo yummy!

Physically I have had a few significant side effects of the detox process.  I woke up today with a terrible headache.  Not just a small go on with your day headache...but rather, an if you don't quit tapping your finger on the table I'm going to murder you, type headache.  I tried just letting it run its course for several hours but I couldn't do it.  I didn't want to take tylenol or anything like that because that would be adding toxins when I'm trying remove them....no sense there.  Soo, I decided to research and see if there were any essential oils that might be able to help.  I found that a mixture of Eucalyptus and Peppermint oil might be able to help. So I jumped in the car and headed to the local health food store.  As soon as I got home I mixed a drop of each in a bit of organic olive and rubbed the mixture on my temples and back of my neck.

Immediately I felt some relief. Over about an hour my headache was completely gone!! It was amaaaazing!!!  I want to rub that crap all over my body and let it do its magic..lol   I have also been having some kidney pain...probably trying to detox all of the yucky stuff from years of drinking soda:/
All in all it has been a tough two days, but I know it will be worth it and in the end I will be very glad I did it.
